Before her tenure at RCA Research, Cassie played a pivotal role in establishing the largest retinal research center in the United States, which is now an integral part of RCA Research.

Before her tenure at RCA Research, Cassie played a pivotal role in establishing the largest retinal research center in the United States, which is now an integral part of RCA Research. As the Senior Director of Business Development, she has significantly contributed to expanding the RCA Research network, increasing the number of sites per study, and enhancing patient access to research trials nationwide. Her efforts have been crucial in fostering relationships with industry sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs). Additionally, Cassie manages all investigator-initiated trials (ISTs) within the RCA network, facilitating collaboration among sites and assisting in protocol development, in additional to overseeing the RCA Research Accounting and Referral Center.

While at Retina Consultants of Texas, Cassie effectively coordinated some of the largest clinical trials in the U.S. for conditions such as Wet AMD, DME, GA, and RVO. She oversaw all ISTs and was responsible for protocol writing, collaborating closely with esteemed professionals like Dr. David M. Brown and Dr. Charles C. Wykoff to conduct significant investigator-initiated studies in the retina field.

Cassie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University.
