Lauren Epp

Lauren Epp started in the clinical research ophthalmology field in 2015 and transferred into the administration side focusing on site budgets and contract negotiations working directly with the Research Director of Retina Consultants of Texas (RCTX).

When RCA partnered with RCTX, she was promoted to Manager of Budgeting and Contracts for Retina Consultants of America in late 2021. After spearheading the standardization and centralizing of the budget and contracts department, Lauren was promoted to Director of Budgeting and Contracts in early 2023. She and her team are responsible for all clinical trial budget and contract negotiations as well as amendments to existing agreements that come to any RCA Site. In her role as Director of Budgeting and Contracts she has created SOPs and Work Instructions for the department to ensure a smooth process for all RCA sites. She has streamlined the budget and contract negotiation process and works diligently to maintain effective communication and good working relationships with RCA’s industry partners.

Lauren holds two degrees from the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.S in Public Policy, Planning, and Development with an emphasis in Health Administration and earned her Master’s Degree in Health Administration.
